The Cemetery Administration in Kristinehamn manages eight cemeteries located within an area corresponding to Kristinehamn municipality. We have 11 permanent employees in cemeteries, administration, and funeral chapels, and during the summer, 17 seasonal employees and some school youth join us.

We are looking for someone who can see their colleagues and both plan and lead their work efforts. You will work both administratively and practically at the cemeteries.

We want you to be able to work in a structured manner and be self-driven. You should be proactive and drive the development of the operations, i.e., contribute with solutions and ideas.

We are keen to provide good service to the public and our grave right holders, so we want you to have the ability to meet our visitors and customers in a positive way. Respect for the workplace's character as a place of rest is a given for us.

Your area of responsibility will be in the central parts of Kristinehamn at the old and new cemeteries as well as the cemetery at Ölme Church.

You will participate in our snow preparedness during weekends (preparedness approximately every 5th weekend).

Grave registers and grave maps are digitized, so you should have some computer skills. You will participate in the courses and training that the employer determines.

The position will be filled by agreement.

- Experience in leadership is a requirement

- A driver's license at least class B and access to your own car is a requirement

- Experience in operating (driver's certificate for excavators) and handling machinery is an advantage

- Experience with plants and green areas is an advantage

- The position is a permanent full-time employment.
